Okay, so let’s be honest, you hate being asked “Do you want paper or plastic?” as much as me…That question sets off a whole new set of worries…”Which is better for the environment?” ”What would I do with another 7 plastic bags? I can’t throw them away, my holder is full and it takes me weeks to weave an entire quilt out of the blasted things. Paper bags don’t have handles and I can just see trees falling all over the planet…SO, I was so dern happy when the green bags started appearing for 99 cents in my local stores. I love the flat bottoms. I love the handles. They are tough. I carried 37 gallons of milk, 17 cans of Italian tomatoes and an entire buffalo carcass in just one bag…well, that may be an exaggeration, but they are tough and super handy. In the past week I’ve used mine to carry clothes and snacks on a fishing trip, afternoon break foods to work, Mary Kay deliveries and actual groceries. They are awesome and they only cost 99 cents! The only bad thing is remembering to take them to the store with you. I leave a bunch in the car and keep the supply stocked…Oh, they have flat bottoms…cool, eh? I wish I did…had a flat bottom, I mean.
